What makes a crypto receipt valid
A crypto receipt works like any payment receipt, with one superpower: the transaction hash makes it independently verifiable.
Transaction hash
The unique on-chain reference for the payment. Anyone can paste it into a block explorer like Etherscan or Basescan and confirm the amount, sender, recipient, and timestamp. No bank statement needed.
Token and network
The same token exists on multiple chains, so always record both. "500 USDC on Base" is unambiguous, "500 USDC" alone is not enough to locate the transaction.
Payer, payee, and purpose
Wallet addresses are pseudonymous, so the receipt is what links the on-chain payment to real names and a business purpose. That link is exactly what your accountant needs.
Fiat value for bookkeeping
Most tax authorities want the fiat value at the time of payment. With stablecoins this is trivial, 500 USDC is 500 USD, which is why businesses prefer stablecoin payments for invoicing.
Stop writing receipts by hand
StableInvoicing detects stablecoin payments on-chain and records the transaction reference automatically. Send an invoice, get paid, done.
